Piano concert of January 15, 2023 by Dona Sévène

Classical music concert on January 15, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. at Saint Serge church, 93 rue de Crimée, 75019 Paris (Laumière metro station) by pianist Dona Sévène. Free entry. A collection will be organized for the benefit of the cultural association of the Saint Serge hill in order to participate in the financing of the restoration work of the hill.

About the artist Dona Sévène

A performer of great virtuosity, committed, sensitive and sincere but also eclectic, Dona Sévène knows how to approach rich and varied musical universes and restore to us as faithfully as possible the spirit and intensity, the emotion of each work. La Presse praises "a subtle and brilliant playing, a magnificent sense of nuances, colors", "a lyrical piano", "a radiant charisma", qualities nourished by his training with Brigitte Engerer (CNSM of Paris), Sergio Perticaroli (Salzburg and Rome) and Paul Badura-Skoda.

Her brilliant career (1st Prize for Piano and Chamber Music from the CNSM in Paris with congratulations, 1st Prize for Improvement unanimously from the Sta Cecilia Academy in Rome) has taken her to many countries. Winner of the Cziffra Foundation, the Lavoisier Scholarship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and numerous international competitions (2nd Prize in Marsala, finalist in Senigallia, 1st Flame Prize in Paris, 3rd Prize in the Scriabine competition in Grosseto) she plays as a soloist and with orchestra: Berlin, Salzburg, Rome, Lausanne, Liège, England, Paris, major French theaters and festivals…

She performs in chamber music with Pierre Amoyal, David Bismuth, Henri Demarquette, Gaëtane Prouvost, Guillaume Martigné, the Psophos quartet, Julie Fuchs…
